Grinding is done best by simply spamming area skills. It also takes a long time to get anywhere. By level 40 you are already getting a bit over 0.1% per kill and by spamming skills you can kill maybe 6 enemies in about 2 attacks if you have high damage. Now repeat this for hours on end to level. When you get to higher levels, its more of the same. A player can only be targetted by 3 or 4 monsters at any given time and thus limits the amount of damage they take unless they purposely attacked those monsters. Area skills deal damage to all targets within the target area regardless of the number of targets. The result is that the bigger the area skill, the more hero online gold experience you will get. Once you get your level 25 skill book, this will be how everyone trains. Find the spot with the most monsters that deal low damage and just spam area skills. This will continue until very high levels and at the point which I stopped, its still the same.
