Compute Skill Defense

1. There's no upper, middle, lower involved, so its simple. Strip off all your gears, and look at your character page to find your Char Skill Defense.

This is affected by your dex, int, and your level, albeit slightly.

2. Calculate the sum of all the Sdef values for relevant gears. Remember this value.

3. Add up all those values I just told you to remember, thats your PureSdef. Now, multiply that sum by the sum of all of your Sdef percent.

4. if you have a total of 36 Sdef percent, you will multiply by 1.36, not 0.36.

5. This is how much skill defense you would have were you wearing the relative gears.

6. any buffs like the Shinobi Skill Defense Buff or the Surgeon buff get added on dead last , they are not factored in with other sdef, they are not affected by your sdef percent.

Bonus Tips

1. It's not a good idea to have a lot of pure def and only like 10 percent def on your gears .

2. Likewise, it's not a good idea to have relatively little pure def and like 75percentdef on your gears .

3. A good balance depends upon your gears, and if you don't mind doing more than the previously assigned amount of math you can figure out that balance for your character.
